Job summary

MISO is seeking an Sr Advisor to lead enterprise strategy and insights. You will synthesize enterprise risk, performance data, and strategic priorities into actionable insights for senior leaders, guiding Board-level discussions and the corporate plan.

You will partner with Corporate Planning to align planning with enterprise risks and value drivers, influencing decisions through persuasion, analysis, and executive communication.

Qualifications

• 12–14+ years in enterprise strategy, risk, analytics, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience advising senior leaders and leading cross-functional work by influence.
• Ability to synthesize ERM, governance, competitive intel, and performance data into insights.
• Strong analytical skills and executive storytelling ability.
• Structured problem-solving and enterprise diagnosis experience.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with clear enterprise questions.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate cross-enterprise perspectives and external trends into corporate strategy.
• Partner with Corporate Planning to strengthen the enterprise plan.
• Assess the corporate plan for gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Engage senior leaders as a credible thought partner and challenge assumptions.
• Influence across boundaries while respecting accountable owners.
• Translate complex information into concise diagnoses and executive narratives.
• Connect priorities to enterprise risks, measures, and strategic objectives.
• Refine enterprise planning approaches and lenses.
