Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Accounting Manager for E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami to lead daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role covers month-end close, cash flow management, budgeting, variance analyses and regulatory compliance, reporting to Finance leaders. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related progressive experience in hotel Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Must communicate effectively with all levels of staff and guests.
• Must multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead, train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and communicate cash flow related issues.
• Monitor hotel revenues and expenses and ensure accurate recording.
• Create annual budgets and monthly variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with licenses, permits and contracts; assist with audits.
• Lead month-end close and maintain general ledger.
• Direct staff hiring, training, supervision and development.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for executives.
