Job summary

Highgate Hotels seeks an Accounting Manager for the E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami. The role oversees daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting to support decision making.

Responsibilities include leading month-end close, analyzing variances, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across departments. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of related progressive experience in hotel accounting or related field or a 4-year degree with accounting/finance concentration and 2 years of related experience or a 2-year degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Must be proficient in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow related issues and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Monitor revenues/expenses and ensure accurate recording per guidelines.
• Prepare budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with licenses, permits, leases, and tax obligations.
• Lead month-end close and maintain the general ledger.
• Hire, train and develop accounting staff; supervise staff.
