Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Manager of Staffing/Scheduling to plan, manage, and evaluate staffing and analytics within the hospital staffing department. You’ll develop timelines, best practices, and daily operations of employee scheduling, partnering with leaders to ensure adequate staffing for patient care.

You will analyze metrics, assess financial impact, and drive staffing model improvements across service lines, while coordinating HR activities for recruitment and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Five years’ staffing experience in an acute care nursing setting.
• Proficiency with MyTime and Excel; knowledge of MNA and union contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, coordinate and evaluate staffing and analytics within the hospital staffing department.
• Develop plans, timelines and best practices; provide recommendations and daily operations of scheduling and staffing.
• Partner with operational leaders to ensure adequate staffing for patient care needs and effective communication and project support.
• Analyze key data metrics and assess financial impact to maintain appropriate staffing models.
• Lead process improvements and annual planning with leadership teams and HR for recruitment and onboarding.
• Oversee staff schedulers and coordinators to align staff and patient care requirements.
• Model accountability, initiative, communication and teamwork; work with the Director of Staffing & Scheduling.
