Job summary

HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking a Manager of Staffing/Scheduling to lead planning, management, and analytics for hospital staffing. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure adequate coverage, optimize daily employee scheduling, and drive process improvements across service lines.

You will oversee scheduling staff, develop staffing models for Surgical Services, and work with Human Resources to coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and implementation of staffing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Five years’ staffing experience in an acute care nursing setting

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, coordinate, and evaluate staffing and analytics within the hospital staffing department.
• Develop plans and timelines, best practices, and daily operations of employee scheduling and staffing.
• Partner with operational leaders to ensure adequate staffing for patient care needs and implement staffing changes.
• Analyze data metrics and assess financial impact to maintain staffing models.
• Develop initiatives and staffing models for Surgical Services and coordinate recruitment/onboarding with HR.
• Oversee schedulers and coordinators to align staff with patient care requirements.
