Job summary

GBMC HealthCare seeks a Staff Development Manager to advance high-reliability, staff education, and a culture of safety. The role leads interdisciplinary education, quality improvement, and the integration of research into practice, with measurement outcomes and senior-level collaboration across departments.

Required are a nursing degree and RN licensure; a master’s in nursing education is preferred or pursued within 5 years. Lean Six Sigma, CPR certification, and driver license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's in nursing education preferred or within 5 years.
• Experience with educational programming, evidence-based practice or research in healthcare.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within 1 year; CPR certified; CPR instructor within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Leads learning needs assessments and aligns educational activities with organizational goals.
• Oversees onboarding, orientation, and preceptor programs across GBMC Health Partners.
• Partners with leadership to advance safety, quality, and patient care through staff development.
