Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
• Four (4) years of experience involving program planning and coordination in a related field.
• Two (2) years of direct supervision.
• Certification/Licensure may be required depending on the program.
• Additional related education/experience may substitute for education or experience under policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more patient care, clinical research, or community outreach program(s) of substantive size and budget.
• Coordinates daily activities and staff functions specific to that healthcare-related program.
• Sets goals and creates tactics to achieve program objectives; hires and trains staff as needed.
• Plans and coordinates daily activities, including developing service delivery protocols.
• Collaborates with research staff to develop protocols and ensure timely implementation when research is present.
• Supervises, trains, schedules, and evaluates professional, research, clinic, and/or clerical staff.
• Oversees record keeping, data collection, management, and analysis; prepares program reports.
• Coordinates and assists in training programs for volunteers and professionals.
• Identifies and pursues outside funding sources; researches grants and participates in grant writing.
