Job summary

ZEISS Meditec USA in Dublin, CA seeks a Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to lead end-to-end inventory, warehousing, distribution and transportation networks. You will drive strategic supply chain initiatives, cost optimization, and service readiness while partnering with Finance, Quality and Regulatory teams.

This senior leader will build scalable capabilities, govern suppliers and 3PLs, and mentor Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Control teams to ensure reliable product availability and

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years in distribution logistics, warehousing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, custom and traffic, material handling or service.
• 3+ years in supervisory/management role.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in FDA or ISO operation environment desirable.
• Ability to set priorities and solve complex problems.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP, WMS, and scanning equipment.
• Travel to local 3PL site and approximately 15% travel.
