Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc. seeks a strategic Head of Supply Chain Management to oversee intralogistics, transportation, procurement, and inventory for the US and Canada.

You will align regional priorities with global leadership to support customer commitments, financial objectives, and long-term goals. The role requires 8+ years in supply chain or logistics with leadership experience, plus Lean/Six Sigma or APICS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or logistics.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing budgets, cost measures, and KPIs.
• Experience in a global matrix organization is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma/APICS/ASCM certification; SAP and analytics experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply chain strategies aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operating model across procurement, replenishment, inventory, intralogistics, logistics, and quality control.
• Direct supplier negotiations and establish purchasing policies balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
• Forecasting, field replenishment, inventory control, and transport to support installations and customer delivery commitments.
• Ensure data accuracy in SAP, MRP, ERP systems and governance over supply chain data.
• Monitor KPI performance including on-time delivery, turns, supplier quality and cost savings.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean, Six Sigma, process mining; drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports; manage performance and development.
