Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc. is seeking an experienced supply chain leader to develop and execute end-to-end strategies across procurement, field replenishment, inventory, intralogistics, transportation, and quality control.

You will supervise multiple supply chain functions, manage budgets and cost-reduction initiatives, and drive performance across a global matrix organization. Domestic and international travel may be required; onsite in Dulles, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 8+ years progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or logistics; 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading multiple supply chain functions and managing budgets, cost-reduction, working capital, and KPIs.
• Global matrix organization experience preferred.
• Certification in Lean/Six Sigma/APICS/ASCM and familiarity with SAP, analytics, Power BI, process mining, and digital SCM solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply chain strategies and budgets.
• Create an integrated end-to-end supply chain operating model across procurement, field replenishment, inventory, intralogistics, transportation, and quality control.
• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations with policies balancing cost, quality, delivery, risk, and compliance.
• Direct material forecasting, field replenishment, inventory control, intralogistics, transportation, and distribution for customer delivery commitments.
• Ensure data integrity in SAP and ERP systems with proper governance and controls.
• Optimize costs, inventory, working capital, freight, and supplier performance while maintaining continuity and service.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, inventory turns, supplier performance, material availability, and logistics costs.
• Lead risk mitigation, business continuity, and problem resolution with cross-functional stakeholders.
