Job summary

Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead strategic plans, identify opportunities, remove obstacles, and mentor a high-performing team while aligning sales initiatives with company objectives.

You will build and manage strategic partnerships and key accounts, use data-driven insights to improve efficiency, collaborate across Merchandising, eCommerce, Operations, Finance and Technology, and uphold Walmart’s standards of integrity and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field with 3 years' experience in business development or related area.
• Five years' experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to drive business growth and achieve key objectives.
• Oversee account management and negotiate agreements to align with goals and procurement standards.
• Supervise and mentor associates, fostering a collaborative team environment and development.
• Evaluate programs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, implementing improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and value realization.
• Uphold policies, ethics, and integrity while promoting a positive workplace culture.
