Job summary

SSCI, Inc. in Burlington, MA seeks a Manager of Growth, Small Air to identify, qualify and capture an opportunity pipeline for SSCI’s technologies and products in the defense sector.

You will report to the Vice President of Business Development and lead engagement with service and government customers. The role requires travel, a bachelor’s in business or marketing, 7+ years in defense business development, and experience with DFAR/FAR and large DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing; 7+ years in defense BD.
• Experience with DFAR/FAR and capture of large DoD programs.
• Existing relationships with DoD decision makers across budgeting, acquisition, and program execution.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Service, COCOM, and international customers; attend government events to gather program information.
• Synthesize information and present opportunities to Growth Division Leadership for 1–5 year horizon.
• Inform IRAD investments and partnerships to increase win probabilities as the division grows.
• Willingness to travel semi-frequently.
