Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive growth in the Generation & Energy Management market across the United States. This remote role focuses on market strategy, high-value opportunities, and shaping CHA's presence with clients.

You will build proposals, manage CRM, lead industry engagement, and collaborate with leadership to drive revenue and strategic pursuits while traveling as needed in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in engineering consulting, business development, sales, or related role in MUSH/Utilities/Federal/Aviation markets.
• Expert understanding of state and/or utility energy efficiency programs and renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth efforts across the Generation & Energy Management market to elevate CHA's visibility.
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with CHA's goals.
• Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities across MUSH, Utilities, Federal, and Aviation sectors.
• Manage client database (CRM), generate leads, and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Develop compelling content for proposals, social media, conferences, and marketing campaigns.
• Represent CHA at industry conferences and nurture relationships with executives and engineers.
• Collaborate with leadership to support proposal development and strategic pursuit decisions.
• Provide market updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
