Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a strategic leader to own high-impact, end-to-end initiatives across the US energy landscape, from concept through deployment. You will partner with finance and operations to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes, including potential M&A synergies and scaling successful bets.

The role emphasizes autonomy, fast-moving execution, and a strong understanding of energy markets, with compensation aligned to location and experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical foundation from a strategy consultancy, investment bank, PE/VC, corp dev, or high-growth operating role.
• Fluency in a spreadsheet and understanding how budgets, forecasts and business cases connect to strategy.
• Comfort owning outcomes with limited oversight and ability to drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own discrete strategic projects end to end from sizing to deployment.
• Work across the US energy landscape as opportunities emerge (battery deployment, retail supply, utility programs).
• Realize value in M&A activity by integrating acquired businesses and building proof points.
• Turn early-stage bets into repeatable operations and scale through playbooks.
