Job summary

RECON is seeking a Business Development Manager in Durango, Colorado to grow our environmental remediation, geotechnical, and related services by building and sustaining client relationships. You will work with project teams and leadership to expand the client base and drive revenue.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in sales/business development, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), exceptional communication and negotiation skills, MS Office proficiency and Salesforce experience, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related sales/business development experience in environmental remediation, decommissioning or industrial demolition.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to expand services to new clients in line with company goals.
• Manage key accounts and understand client spend, philosophy and partnerships.
• Identify marketing opportunities and build partnerships to grow market penetration.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of large, strategic prospects.
• Develop collateral, arrange meetings with decision makers, and secure business.
• Analyze market strategies, requirements and financials to guide negotiations.
