Job summary

REMEDIAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, L.P. (RECON) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee earthwork, cap closure, and environmental remediation construction projects in the Western United States. You will lead field crews, manage safety, schedule, cost control, and client relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in earthwork or remediation project management, a related bachelor’s degree, and hands-on leadership with heavy equipment operations. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive earthwork/construction project management experience.
• Experience with mine reclamation or environmental remediation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to lead teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from planning through closeout for earthwork and remediation sites.
• Lead field crews and oversee safety programs across job sites.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors, and change orders to meet schedule and budget.
• Monitor progress with project controls, forecasts, and status reports.
