Job summary

Samsung Foundry in San Jose, CA seeks a Senior Manager for Sales & Business Development to drive new accounts and grow Foundry engagements. You will lead from first contact through onboarding, craft tailored solutions, and coordinate with Marketing, Finance, Legal and HQ to win design awards.

The role requires 15+ years in EE or related fields (15+ in BE, 13+ with a Master, 10+ with a PhD), strong customer relations, and a proven track record in semiconductors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in EE or related Physical Science with 15+ years of industry experience.
• Master or PhD with 13+ or 10+ years of industry experience respectively; MBA is a plus.
• Experience in semiconductor industry close to foundries and supply chain, in a customer-facing role.
• Proven track record in marketing/sales/business development with complex deals.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Generate and drive new accounts to successful engagements from first contact to onboarding.
• Articulate Samsung Foundry strengths and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Lead marketing pitches, RFQs, and design wins with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate contracts and manage sales operations post-conversion.
• Feed market/industry requirements into marketing knowledgebase.
