Job summary

WGL Holdings, Inc. in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Development – Data Centers & Power Solutions to shape market strategy and form strategic partnerships.

You will lead opportunities from concept through execution, coordinating across engineering, operations, regulatory, and finance teams to advance large-scale energy projects. You will build a pipeline, negotiate commercial terms, and develop robust business cases to present to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power, utilities, energy infra, data centers or related industries.
• Proven success in business development, commercial strategy, and infrastructure growth.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Power Solutions growth strategy, identifying opportunities across data centers, AI infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and large industrial customers.
• Build and manage relationships with power developers, EPCs, OEMs, system integrators, and other infrastructure partners.
• Lead customer engagements through negotiations and contracts, and structure commercial agreements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams toward project execution and investment approvals.
• Develop investment cases and present to executive leadership and governance committees.
