Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Director of Business Development for USSOCOM to shape long-term opportunities and lead multi-year pursuits. You will build deep partnerships across end-users, primes, and PM offices to align capabilities with mission needs.

You’ll own capture, drive horizon scanning, and guide proposals through to award, collaborating with the Market Development Executive and Account Sales, while traveling up to half the time as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in defense sales or business development, USSOCOM experience preferred.
• Proven track record in capturing complex, long-cycle DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive capture for large-scale, multi-year SOCOM programs.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain deep relationships with all buying influences.
• Shape requirements with customers to position Silvus MN-MIMO technology.
• Manage full lifecycle of long-cycle pursuits from horizon scanning to award.
• Collaborate with the Market Development Executive and Account Sales for transitions.
• Stay updated on market trends, funding priorities, and competitive actions.
• Travel up to 50% as needed to engage customers and partners.
