Metropolis Technologies seeks a strategic Director, Business Development to own a regional territory in New Jersey (Newark, Hoboken, Jersey City). You will drive net-new business, negotiate deals, orchestrate full sales cycles, and lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and legal to meet ambitious growth targets.
The role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, strong negotiation skills, and data-driven pipeline forecasting.
Qualifications
- Own the full sales cycle in the regional territory (New Jersey: Newark, Hoboken, Jersey City).
- Identify and develop net-new business opportunities through multiple lead channels.
- Translate pain points into customized, solution-oriented proposals.
- Lead client presentations, discovery sessions, and proposal delivery.
- Build relationships across key stakeholder groups.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, marketing, operations, and legal.
