Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an RN Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop and direct the Nursing department, ensuring the highest quality patient care in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires ASN, active RN license, 2 years supervisory experience in post-acute care, and CPR certification (on hire or during orientation) with ongoing recertification.

Qualifications

• ASN degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently licensed/registered RN in the applicable state with active license.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a post-acute or related setting.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct nursing staff.
• Recruit, select, hire, train, evaluate, counsel and supervise nursing staff.
• Direct care provided by nursing staff and perform staff-nurse duties as required.
• Manage budget and ensure quality patient care and safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain confidentiality of information.
