Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks a Business Development Director for Eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, leading proposal development, and shaping win strategies to deliver client value.

Candidates should have 10+ years in BD within the A/E/C sector, strong leadership and networking skills, and be able to travel as needed to support pursuits and engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 10 years in a business development, seller-do, or operations management role in the A/E/C industry.
• Experience in winning and/or delivering program, project, and/or construction management projects.
• Strong regional knowledge and relationships in rail, transit, roadway/bridge, water/wastewater, ports, energy, or mission critical markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue opportunities aligned with Hill’s strategy.
• Establish positive client relationships through meetings and networking.
• Lead proposal and interview preparation and develop win strategies.
• Help identify strategic hires and coordinate with recruiters.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and serve as client advocate.
