Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, market analysis, or forecasting within a complex organization.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills across diverse audiences.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of the organization’s strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company purpose, values, and evolving market dynamics
• Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, long-term objectives, and actionable plans that support sustainable business growth
• Support Emerson planning and governance processes, including preparation of materials and insights for President’s Council, Profit Review, and Growth Conference
• Conduct market, competitive, and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks
• Gather, organize, and synthesize internal and external data across Flow Controls markets, world areas, business units, and operations
• Systematically track and assess Fisher product market activity to inform long-term strategy and business direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals
• Communicate strategic insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels
• Anticipate challenges to strategy execution and support change management efforts to drive adoption and alignment
• Help prioritize initiatives and projects based on strategic impact and business value
