Job summary

Emerson is seeking a driven leader to develop the mid- and long-term global organization strategy for its control valves business. You will analyse business strategy, identify growth avenues and customer pain points, and apply findings to drive meaningful change across functions.

Qualifications

B.S. Engineering with 3–5 years’ experience in strategic business analysis and growth execution.
Proven ability to develop growth plans, conduct market analysis, portfolio roadmaps, competitive analysis, business cases and growth strategies.
Experience in process industries, sales, business development, or marketing is a key advantage.
MBA preferred to strengthen strategic leadership and analytic capabilities.

Responsibilities

Identify and utilize primary market research to inform medium-term industry plans and long-term strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with external and internal teams to lead industry investigations and growth plans.
Leverage competitive intelligence to drive strategic industry growth and align with long-term goals.
Collaborate with team members on go/no-go decisions for advanced technology ideas supporting strategic initiatives.
Monitor and communicate dynamics such as segment growth, opportunities, and industry trends that impact performance.
Drive cadence of competitor product offerings and financials by industry.
Drive early-stage gate processes for key projects identified from strategic analysis.
Support leadership meetings and strategic decision communications.
