Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist to serve as a specialized design resource within the Marketing Department, supporting strategic pursuits, interviews and presentations, conferences, business development efforts, and major Marketing initiatives.

The role partners across teams translating complex information into compelling, brand-consistent visual communication. Proposal Managers retain responsibility for proposal layout, production, and delivery; this role provides targeted

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–10 years of related experience in graphic design, marketing, proposal development, or production.
• AEC industry experience preferred.
• Experience in proposal graphics, infographics, maps, and visual communication.
• Experience developing branded templates and marketing collateral.
• Experience supporting conferences, events, and high-visibility initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate with external production vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a specialized graphic design resource supporting strategic pursuits, interviews and presentations, conferences, business development, and major Marketing initiatives.
• Develop custom graphics including infographics, process diagrams, organizational charts, schedules, workflows, maps, and icons.
• Partner with Proposal Managers and staff to translate complex concepts into effective visuals.
• Provide targeted design support for high-priority pursuits while Proposal Managers handle layout and delivery.
• Develop and maintain templates, libraries, and reusable visual assets for independent production.
• Design interview and presentation materials including PowerPoint and Canva assets.
• Support major Marketing initiatives through booth graphics, signage, and collateral.
• Coordinate with vendors for print and digital production; maintain organized assets.
• Ensure design work follows brand standards and maintains quality and readability.
