McMillen, Inc. seeks a Graphic Design Specialist to act as a focused design resource within Marketing, translating complex information into brand-consistent visuals for pursuits and major initiatives.

You will develop infographics, diagrams, and templates, collaborating with Proposal Managers and staff to deliver high-quality visuals while maintaining brand standards and supporting events and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–10 years in graphic design, marketing, proposal development, or production.
• Experience in AEC industry is preferred.
• Ability to support proposal development, interview presentations, and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a specialized graphic design resource supporting strategic pursuits, interviews and presentations, conferences, business development, and major Marketing initiatives.
• Develop custom graphics including infographics, process diagrams, organizational charts, schedules, workflows, maps, and icons.
• Translate complex technical concepts into effective visual communication with cross-functional teams.
• Provide targeted design support for high-priority pursuits while Proposal Managers handle layout, production and delivery.
• Develop and maintain templates, graphic libraries, presentation tools, and reusable visual assets.
• Design interview and presentation materials including PowerPoint and Canva assets.
• Support conferences, tradeshows, and major Marketing initiatives with booth graphics and collateral.
• Create strategic marketing collateral including qualifications materials and brochures.
• Coordinate with print, tradeshow, and vendors; prepare files for print and digital production.
• Maintain organized graphic assets and brand-compliant visuals.
• Ensure design adheres to brand standards and maintains quality and readability.
• Collaborate with Communications on overlapping initiatives and own design responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve graphics, templates, and workflows through technology and automation.
• Manage multiple design assignments with the Director of Marketing prioritizing requests.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.F.A.) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Communications, or related field; or 5–10 years of related experience
