Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior lead for Planning & Scheduling on a traveling data center-focused project portfolio (including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, EV/Battery/Renewables). This role directs planning strategy, KPI tracking, and cross-functional implementation across multiple regions to improve schedule performance and risk mitigation.

The position requires 15+ years in construction with 8+ years in scheduling leadership, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of construction experience including 8 years of Scheduling or leadership.
• Scheduling Certification desired (AACE, PSP, PMI-SP).
• Data Center construction project experience (> $500m).
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervision.
• Knowledge of Earned Value concepts and managing scheduling risks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead change delays and claims.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic direction for advancement of Planning & Scheduling pillars and define KPI metrics.
• Engage with Regional Operations Group to align goals with P&S strategy.
• Lead pillar strategy and growth at BU level with KPI results.
• Guide P&S teams for consistency with strategic goals across regions.
• Drive Scheduling Leadership Team to promote consistent scheduling across units.
• Develop and manage P&S procedures to comply with company requirements.
• Collaborate to develop organizational structures and workforce planning for scheduling
• Contribute to recruitment decisions and internal mobility for scheduling roles.
• Lead implementation of P&S educational programs and materials.
• Collaborate on Playbook standards to ensure quality deliverables.
• Serve as national point of contact for P&S software vendors and SLAs.
• Educate client and project leaders on P&S standards and best practices.
• Serve as decision-maker on P&S issues and resolutions.
• Integrate P&S with Quality, Lean, VDC and other departments to establish 4D, EV standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and legal on contract changes to mitigate risks.
• Partner with IS to manage technology requirements and vendor contracts.
• Foster teamwork and national training/events to build scheduling depth.
• Increase Turner’s visibility in the industry through external engagements.
• Represent Scheduling in company committees and cross-team initiatives.
• Lead Scheduling initiatives to improve efficiency and value in projects/BU.
• Analyze scheduling trends and risks and develop mitigation strategies.
