Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior Scheduling leader for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers. The role demands 15+ years in construction with at least 8 years in Scheduling/leadership, and 70-80% travel.

Lead planning, development, and coordination of Planning & Scheduling functions, establish KPI-driven strategies, and align with regional operations. Salary range reflects high responsibility and market rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and minimum of 15 years of construction experience including 8 years of Scheduling and/or leadership experience
• Scheduling Certification desired (e.g., AACE, PSP, PMI-SP)
• Data Center construction project experience (> $500m)
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervision positions
• Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and Trade practices
• Extensive experience in Scheduling policies, procedures, practices, and systems
• Ability to articulate, explain, and recommend edits to contractual language, claims, and company policy
• Advanced experience developing metrics, tracking results, conducting gap analysis, and managing scheduling risks
• Knowledge of Earned Value concepts and using construction resources to validate productivity and durations
• Executive level presentation delivery with ability to lead discussions and influence outcomes with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic direction for P&S pillar and define KPI metrics
• Engage with Regional Operations Group to align goals with P&S strategy
• Manage pillar strategy and growth/progress at BU level
• Guide P&S teams for regional alignment
• Drive Scheduling Leadership Team to promote consistent methods
• Develop and manage P&S procedures to comply with requirements
• Collaborate on workforce planning and growth targets for Scheduling team
• Lead recruitment and internal mobility for key positions
• Lead P&S educational programs and materials
• Lead development and maintenance of Scheduling Playbook standards
• Serve as national contact for P&S software vendors
• Educate client and internal project leaders on P&S standards
• Integrate P&S with Quality, Lean, VDC, and other departments
• Collaborate with senior leadership on contract changes to mitigate risks
• Partner with IS to manage technology requirements and SLAs
• Foster teamwork and national training events
• Increase Turner visibility through external organizations and events
• Represent Scheduling in company committees
• Lead Scheduling initiatives to improve efficiency and value
• Analyze scheduling trends and risks and develop mitigation strategies
