Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Traveling Director of Scheduling to lead Planning & Scheduling for data center, pharmaceutical, industrial/manufacturing, and EV/battery/renewables projects. This full-time traveling role develops scheduling strategy, aligns with regional goals, and promotes best practices across business units.

The position requires extensive scheduling leadership, KPI development, and collaboration with IS for software governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of construction experience including 8 years of Scheduling and/or leadership experience.
• Scheduling Certification desired (e.g., AACE, PSP, PMI-SP).
• Data Center construction project experience (> $500m).
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervision positions.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, coordination, and oversight of Planning & Scheduling functions for data center project operations.
• Develop and implement scheduling strategy based on current company objectives.
• Establish KPI and metrics to impact project delivery across the company.
• Engage with Regional Operations Group to align P&S strategy with company goals.
• Manage and report on pillar strategy and growth at BU level aligned with KPI results.
• Drive scheduling leadership to promote consistent methods across units and improve performance.
• Collaborate to develop P&S procedures, processes, and educational programs.
• Lead implementation of P&S playbooks and best practices to ensure quality deliverables.
• Serve as national point of contact for P&S software vendors and coordinate with IS for SLAs.
