Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Major Deal Pursuit Leader to drive the sales process for large ICT deals with TCVs over $35M. You will lead pursuit teams, shape proposal pricing, negotiate with executives, and ensure on-time delivery while traveling up to 75%. This role is remote-mobile with occasional Verizon-site training and meetings.

You’ll coordinate multi-functional teams, manage engagement economics, and contribute to growth through world-class deal creation and management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in outsourcing, out-tasking, and/or off-shoring negotiations/deals.
Line/matrix management experience with significant multi-function teams.
Experience in leading and closing a complex network integration deal with high TCV.
Willingness to travel up to 75% or less.
A valid Driver’s License.

Defining deliverable structure and content.
Facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
Directing on-time, quality delivery of work products.
Managing engagement economics.
Managing engagement risk.
Managing day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Participating in business development and maintaining contact with executive decision makers at key clients.
Organizing and leading pursuit teams.
Participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process
Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
