Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a skilled professional to manage client relationships and daily administration of Global Capital Markets accounts. You will collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit to ensure compliance and resolve issues promptly.

The role involves preparation of fee proposals, handling cash flow and reporting, and contributing to revenue opportunities. You will serve as the main client contact, coordinate with service partners, and support strategic plans to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of client service experience in Global Capital Markets.
• Proficient with PCs and pertinent software.
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting legal documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication; analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor administrative systems and accounts for complexity and risk to ensure policy compliance.
• Review, analyze and comment on operative documents and agreements for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate monitoring of risks and regulatory compliance with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit as required.
• Research and resolve issues related to control and client service aspects of accounts with internal/external resources.
• Work with external parties to structure and close GCM transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist with fee billing, cash flow execution, reporting and tickler processing.
• Participate in sales calls with GCM Sales and prepare fee proposals for new opportunities.
• Advise management on opportunities to increase revenue via appropriate fee adjustments.
• Provide coverage for other Relationship Managers and support departmental projects.
