Job summary

Blue Castle Agency in Sarasota, FL seeks a General Manager for a large-scale master-planned community with dozens of sub-associations and a commercial village center. You will lead strategic direction, capital projects, and vendor relationships while guiding a strong on-site team and reporting to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities include managing operating and reserve budgets, ensuring CAI best practices, and coordinating with municipal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years managing large-scale, master-planned community associations.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar operating and reserve budgets.
• Proven track record working with a Board of Directors and executing on priorities.
• Experience negotiating and managing vendor and developer relationships.
• Familiarity with community-management software and strong written communications.

Responsibilities

• Set long-range strategic direction for the community, including capital planning and reserve funding.
• Lead and develop on-site staff and department heads across dozens of sub-associations.
• Report to the Board of Directors and translate priorities into an operating plan.
• Coordinate with outside vendors, developers, and contractors on major projects.
• Oversee operating and capital budgets and collaborate with finance on reserve studies.
