Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager to oversee a large, amenity-rich master‑planned community in Florida. You will drive operations, financial health, and the resident experience, working with developers, HOA boards, service providers, and residents to realize the community’s long‑term vision.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong financial discipline, and a proven track record managing multifaceted operations and teams in high‑end settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of successful high-profile community management experience or equivalent.
• Experience with master‑planned communities, luxury residential developments, or highly amenity‑rich environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, real estate, or related field preferred.
• Certifications CMCA/AMS/PCAM (or equivalent) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across all amenities and services.
• Oversee lifestyle programming, events, and resident engagement.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets, capital plans, and reserves.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, ordinances, and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, train, and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure value and quality.
