Job summary

KBR seeks a General Engineer (Planner) for TACOM contingency work, supporting system development, maintenance, troubleshooting and process improvement to ensure equipment reliability and mission readiness.

The role requires cross‑discipline engineering across mechanical, electrical, civil, and industrial systems, with responsibility for project scopes, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance. Contingent upon award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, systems, or related discipline).
• Typically 2–5 years of engineering experience in a technical, military, or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering for new construction, renovation and improvement projects for facilities.
• Project engineer for all phases of assigned work.
• Prepare documents for construction packages.
• Monitor and coordinate contract activity to ensure compliance.
• Review data and provide technical recommendations to approve project designs.
