KBR seeks a General Engineer (Contingency) to support TACOM-managed systems, applying engineering analysis, design support, and problem-solving to ensure reliability and mission readiness in facilities and equipment.

The role covers project engineering across mechanical, electrical, civil, and industrial disciplines, with responsibilities from concept through construction and sustainment, including coordination with contractors and review of design documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience in technical, military, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering for the development and execution of new construction, renovation and improvement projects for facilities.
• Project engineer for all phases of assigned work.
• Analyze project designs and specifications for alterations to reduce costs without compromising quality.
