Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (contingent) to lead TACOM (WVA) engineering and infrastructure projects at a military installation.

You will shepherd initiatives from concept to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards are met while coordinating with engineers, contractors, and government stakeholders. The role requires strong project management discipline, experience with multidisciplinary teams, and ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience managing engineering, construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
• Knowledge of project management principles: scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and review project plans, cost estimates, technical specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of engineering, construction, and facility-related codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage engineering and construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, military personnel, and regulators for planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Review engineering designs, specifications, and contractor submittals for compliance.
• Conduct site visits to verify status, quality, and safety and ensure contract adherence.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership on status, funding, risks, and priorities.
• Support long-range facility planning by identifying needs and evaluating capital initiatives.
