KBR, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer (Contingency) to plan, design, manage, and support mechanical systems at a military installation under TACOM (WVA).

This role covers HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems, delivering studies, plans, specs, and cost estimates while ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and maintenance personnel, and providing technical guidance to staff to sustain mission

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and utility distribution systems.
• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret engineering designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and IBC/Mechanical Code requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and manage mechanical engineering projects supporting facility infrastructure and mission requirements.
• Develop and review mechanical system designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Serve as project manager for assigned mechanical projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and execution from planning through completion.
• Provide technical oversight of mechanical construction, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial systems, to ensure reliability and operational readiness.
