Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a General Engineer (Contingency) to support TACOM (RRAD) by providing engineering analysis, design support, and technical problem‑solving for system reliability and mission readiness.

The position is contingent upon award and involves multi-disciplinary project work across facilities and real property. The candidate will contribute to development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement to ensure safety and adherence to Army standards while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, systems, or related discipline).
• Typically 2-5 years of engineering experience in a technical, military, or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering for the development and execution of new construction, renovation and improvement projects for a variety of real property facilities requiring multi-engineering disciplines.
• Project engineer for all phases of assigned work.
• Engineering work involves research studies, design projects, and/or problems of a broad scope of special concern and is complicated by the presence of a limited number of complex features.
