Job summary

Logistics Coordinator in Texas is responsible for coordinating scheduling and dispatching resources to meet service demands efficiently. You will manage driver routes, serve as the central contact for customers, and monitor inventories and loads to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to forecast resources seven days ahead and document all activities for accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for hazardous materials transport.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Excellent communication to relay information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule fuel transport drivers' routes and dispatch.
• Serve as central contact for drivers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor customer fuel inventories and align with customer requirements.
• Track and document calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries.
• Forecast resources at least seven days out and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state and federal requirements.
