Job summary

Travero, a subsidiary of Alliant Energy, is seeking a Senior Freight Solutions Consultant to generate and grow sales in a non-asset-based brokerage model. You will own the full sales cycle, target accounts, build a robust pipeline, and collaborate with operations to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

The role emphasizes outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and strategic account management across designated verticals and markets, with a base salary plus commissions and strong earnings

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of sales experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.
• Strong outbound prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and pursue new customers within designated industry verticals and geographic markets.
• Generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive outreach and referrals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for customers, opportunities, and activities.
• Develop and execute account strategies to win and grow freight opportunities.
• Build long-term customer relationships as a trusted business partner.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure solutions are feasible and implemented.
