Job summary

Travero, a subsidiary of Alliant Energy, is seeking a Senior Freight Solutions Consultant to drive new business in non-asset-based freight brokerage and build long-term relationships with clients.

You will own the full sales cycle within defined markets, prospect, present tailored logistics solutions, and coordinate with operations to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of sales experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.
• Strong outbound prospecting and relationship-building skills; ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and pursue new customers within designated industry verticals and geographic markets.
• Generate qualified sales opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve margin and revenue goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for customers, opportunities, and activities.
• Develop and execute account strategies to win and grow freight opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships as a trusted partner.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure feasible, successful implementation of solutions.
