Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain is seeking a Freight Brokerage Account Manager in Dublin, OH. You will retain and develop existing business by leveraging strong client relationships, managing P&L, and delivering tailored supply chain solutions.

You will drive growth through pricing, onboarding of new clients, and proactive market insights. You will collaborate with operations to ensure customer expectations are met, support new sales initiatives, and pursue opportunities across the domestic brokerage team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international trade, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in freight forwarding, domestic transportation, customs brokerage, or international supply chains.
• 2+ years driving growth in account management.
• Self-starter with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multitask across lines of business to drive growth.
• Strong market knowledge in domestic or international logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• World-class relationship-building and sales mentality.
• Excellent command of English, written and verbal.
• Lean Six Sigma functions experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for all account management matters.
• Leverage relationships to increase revenue and profitability for Legacy.
• Lead business reviews with customers and drive action plans to improve results.
• Proactively communicate issues to maintain positive results for assigned accounts.
• Negotiate rates with customers, sales, internal operations, and external providers.
• Rate quoting to assigned customers and potential new customers.
• Develop solutions to drive growth with identified targets.
• Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction and revenue targets are met.
• Forecast and track key account metrics; manage P&L of assigned customers.
• Proactively identify and address operational requirements with resources.
• Support new sales developments through pricing and onboarding of clients.
• Seek new or recurring opportunities to grow the relationship.
• Onboard new customers and act as SME on opportunities.
• Provide detailed reporting for open orders and shipping oversight.
