Legacy Supply Chain’s freight brokerage is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support cargo movements and connect with carrier partners. You will negotiate rates, track shipments, and build strong customer and carrier relationships.

The role involves weekend and after-hours shifts and offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match. This is a full-time on-site position in Dublin, OH.

Source carriers to arrange transportation of clients’ cargo.
Negotiate freight rates with carriers.
Track and trace shipments and troubleshoot issues.
Build rapport with partner carriers and promote Legacy as a fair partner.
Collaborate with operations, sales and account management to understand clients’ needs.
Monitor transit costs and minimize order costs.
Communicate with customers professionally and be a proactive problem-solver.
Maintain accurate shipment and billing records and files.
