Job summary

Trading Technologies is seeking a Sr. Manager, FP&A Business Partner to serve as the strategic finance partner for Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management.

You will own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, connect service costs to revenue, and lead contribution margin reporting by line of business to guide investments. The role requires strong modeling, business judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A or business partnering roles with Product/Engineering support.
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS/software environments preferred.
• Experience building P&Ls and contribution margin analyses with cost allocations.
• Strong understanding of R&D cost structures, software capitalization, cloud/hosting economics, and SaaS metrics (ARR, gross margin, Rule of 40).
• Experience analyzing service delivery economics, cost-to-serve, and professional/managed services margins.
• Proven ability to influence senior technical and product leaders; advanced financial modeling; familiarity with Abacum/Adaptive/Planful, NetSuite, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management leadership guiding strategy and investments.
• Own the Product & Engineering budget, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses including headcount and cloud spend.
• Connect service delivery costs to revenue and report service margins and cost-to-serve.
• Develop contribution margin reporting by line of business with clear allocation methodologies.
• Build business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives and capacity investments; track realized returns.
• Partner on R&D capitalization, cost allocation, and resource planning to align spend with priorities.
• Analyze margin drivers and profitability; contribute to AOP and long-range plans.
• Prepare materials for executive, investor, and Board reporting translating product performance into narratives.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality across ERP and BI.
