Job summary

Trading Technologies Limited in Chicago seeks a Sr. Manager, FP&A Business Partner to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management.

You will connect service costs to revenue, deliver contribution margin reporting, and influence leadership with data-driven insights. You will own the Product & Engineering budget, forecasts, and monthly variance analyses, including headcount and cloud spend, while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA/CFA preferred.
• 7+ years FP&A, strategic finance or business partnering with product/engineering exposure.
• Experience in SaaS/software environments and cost-to-serve analysis.
• Ability to build line-of-business P&Ls and allocation methodologies.
• Strong modeling skills and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure and Service Management for financial insights.
• Own Product & Engineering budget, forecasts, and monthly variance analyses.
• Link service costs to revenue and report service margins by business line.
• Develop contribution margin reporting with auditable allocation methods.
• Build business cases for new initiatives and track ROI vs. plan.
• Collaborate on R&D capitalization and resource planning with Engineering.
• Analyze gross margin drivers and identify profitability improvements.
• Contribute to AOP and long-range plans with scenario planning.
• Prepare executive and Board materials translating cost performance into strategy.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.
