Job summary

Trading Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A Business Partner in Chicago to serve as a strategic finance partner to Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management leadership. You will own financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, linking costs to service revenue and delivering margins reporting.

You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, headcount and cloud spend, and prepare concise materials for the Board and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 7+ years FP&A, strategic finance, or business partnering with Product/Engineering exposure.
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS/software environments preferred.
• Experience building line-of-business P&L and contribution margin analyses with cost allocations.
• Strong understanding of R&D cost structures, software capitalization, cloud hosting economics, and SaaS metrics (ARR, gross margin, Rule of 40).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance business partner to Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Service Management leadership.
• Own the Product & Engineering budget, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses (headcount, contractors, cloud hosting, 3rd-party spend).
• Connect service delivery costs to service revenue and build visibility into margins and cost-to-serve.
• Build contribution margin reporting by line of business with clear allocation methodologies.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives and capacity investments.
