Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Finance Manager in Hawthorne, CA to lead FP&A for all product lines including Starlink, Starship, Falcon, and Dragon. The role interfaces with production, engineering, sales, program management, accounting, and executive management.

You will identify resource requirements, develop KPIs, and provide financial analysis to inform operational decisions while partnering with supply chain and accounting. On-site, full-time, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 6+ years of experience in finance or operations
• Master's degree in business administration preferred
• Experience with ERP databases and SQL programming is a plus
• Advanced Excel financial modeling skills and ability to present results to cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Identify resource requirements for business groups, including headcount, capital, vehicle refurb/build costs, and operating expenses
• Work with production and engineering teams to identify KPIs and analyze performance against productivity targets
• Partner with business unit leaders to prepare financial analysis for operational decision-making
• Work with supply chain to track financial obligations as we scale
• Coordinate financial close analysis and group-level reporting with accounting
• Provide insights on spending variances and department-level reporting
• Coordinate capital expenditure tracking and cash forecasts
• Provide financial analysis and support to business initiatives
