Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Financial Analyst in Hawthorne, CA to drive FP&A for all projects. You will interface with production, engineering, sales, program management, accounting, and executives to forecast spending, profitability, and cash needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in accounting/finance, with advanced Excel, statistics, and modeling skills. On-site full-time; competitive compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1+ year of experience in accounting, finance, or business roles (internships counted).
• Experience in manufacturing or technology environments preferred.
• Strong skills in Excel, statistics, and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecast of KPIs including spending and headcount, capital and Opex.
• Forecast unit costs with cross-functional teams and track cost reduction targets.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making from ideation to implementation.
• Develop financial models and metrics with cross-functional partners.
• Prepare and update Capex and inventory cash forecasts.
• Support product cost tracking and inventory analysis including obsolescence.
