Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Finance Support Manager to partner with stakeholders across the organization to analyze financial performance and drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, reporting, and building robust financial models using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. The role emphasizes data integrity, KPIs, and effective communication of insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• MBA with finance/accounting/economics concentration
• 4–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance or finance business partnering experience
• Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skills
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and scenario analysis
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to simplify complex information
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work through others to accomplish goals
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models.
• Provide scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and profitability assessments for strategic planning.
• Maintain planning models and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Analyze financial results, variances and performance drivers; communicate insights clearly.
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reports to track business performance.
• Assist with pricing, profitability analysis, bids and market development projects.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with analytical review.
• Build and enhance financial models for initiatives, capex, pricing, and resource allocation.
• Leverage Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL to improve reporting and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and standardize reporting.
• Assist with audits and respond to information requests.
