Job summary

Abacum is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to own end-to-end financial planning/EPM implementations in the US market. You will scope projects with Sales, build plans, and manage delivery through internal and partner teams to ensure value realization for clients.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with Product and Support, and help evolve our delivery methodologies. A strong FP&A background and client-facing communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience implementing a financial planning/EPM platform.
• Experience scoping projects pre-sale and presenting SOWs to clients.
• Experience managing implementations delivered through partners or resellers.
• Working knowledge of FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation).
• Working knowledge of other planning use cases such as workforce planning.
• Track record managing multi-stakeholder, multi-workstream projects with technical and change-management components.
• Ability to read scope documents critically and flag risk early.
• Proficiency with SaaS project tools and Agile/hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent at client-facing communication with senior finance stakeholders.
• Formal Project Management Qualifications are a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Abacum implementations, from pre-sales through delivery and value realization.
• Partner with Sales during pre-sales to scope projects and present SOWs.
• Build project documents, sprint plans, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate delivery with partners and internal teams to maintain quality standards.
• Manage scope, risk, and change control using governance processes.
• Advise client stakeholders on process and org changes to realize platform value.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Sales, CS, and delivery partners for a seamless experience.
• Hands-on with the product to unblock the team on FP&A questions.
• Contribute to delivering by refining templates, sprint cadences, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior delivery team members and partner consultants.
